Kenya is a country of extraordinary landscapes, rich in wildlife and culture.
Each tailor-made helicopter safari includes the most exciting and breath-taking destinations, along with opportunities for exploring mountains, lakes, deserts and forests along the way and following the most scenic routes, touching down wherever possible.
You'll see parts of Kenya normally visited by only the most intrepid travelers who have months to explore, instead of days. With your own helicopter piloted by a superb naturalist guide, every day is filled with wonder and excitement, while on the ground you'll still be able to explore by vehicle, horseback, or on foot.
Fly around the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Visit the elephant orphans who have been released into the wild at Voi. See hippo from a glass underwater viewing area at Mzima Springs. See the amazing salt pans of Lake Magadi before settling into the Maasai Mara for some serious game viewing and a visit with researchers from Mara Research project. Add in fishing in Lake Victoria, a hot air balloon, flights over Mt Kenya and the Mathews ranges and a chance to look for the black panther at Lewa and the community-based elephant and rhino conservation at Retiti.
Days 1 - 3: Meet your helicopter and pilot/guide in Nairobi, and fly to the Chyulu Hills where your local Maasai guides join you for game drives, horse riding, and walking in the mist forest. A quick flight takes you to Tsavo to meet the orphan elephants being released into the wild by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. See hippo underwater at the crystal clear Mzima Springs and hear members of the Big Life Foundation team share on their conservation work. Take a sunrise helicopter flight over the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
